Obituary of Barbara Jean Smelser

SMELSER – Barbara Jean (1952 – 2019)  Heaven has gained the most Resillient and Courageous Angel on February 22, 2019.  Daughter of the Late Harold (1987)and Vera Smelser (2018).  Loving step mother of Tracey Kingsley (Kathy) and Trevor Kingsley (Anne).  Also surviving are her siblings Larry (Gayle), David (Pauline), Sheldon, Shari Slack (Chris), nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, aunt, uncle, cousins and many friends.  She will be missed by her best friends Jim and Penny Patterson and their families. Barb was predeceased by her sons Tony (June 2005) and Christopher (October 2005), step-daughter Tammy, brother Robert (1971 and cousin Floyd (2018).  Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, March 1, 2019 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at All Saints Anglican Church, 58 Main St. N., Hagersville where the funeral will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. Arch Deacon Val Kerr officiating followed by interment at Rainham White Church Cemetery.  SOUTH COAST FUNERAL & CREMATION ALTERNATIVES, 71 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe in care of arrangements.
