Obituary of Bill Chiasson

CHIASSON—William “Bill”:  Passed away March 5th, 2019, in his 73rd year, surrounded by family.  He is the son of the late Albert and Sarah Chiasson of Dalhousie, NB.  Loving husband of Linda.  Father of Michelle Wieffering.  Stepfather to James Moulton and Shannon Moulton.  Grandfather to Abigail and Ashley Wieffering.  He is survived by his sisters Mabel Gray and Donna (Guy) Palmater, and Sister-in-law Jeannine Chiasson and Brother-in-law Garry (Marie) Howden, Mother-in-law Louisa Howden, and coffee buddies Roland & Elaine Lazou.   He was Special Bill to Owen and Lily Johnson.  Missed by his furry companions Mattie and Daisy.    He is predeceased by siblings Shirley, Charlie, and Randy. Bill loved Delhi ever since he moved there as a young teenager to first work for his sister Shirley Callens on the tobacco farm. Bill was a kind, gentle man and had a helpful spirit. He loved visiting and talking with everyone he met and was always ready and willing to help others. Bill also loved playing Santa Claus and riding in the Christmas parade in Delhi for many years. He will be deeply missed.  At Bill’s request there will be no services held.  SOUTH COAST FUNERAL & CREMATION ALTERNATIVES INC., 71 Norfolk St. N.
