Its been almost 6 months since without you and i dont know where the time has went. All i know I promised i’d take care of grandma and the house right where you left off and thats what im going to continue to do. Some days its tough but you taught me the flower that follows the sun does so even in cloudy days. Soon enough i will have the courage to step back on the ice again so can watch me but until then i hope youre enjoying watching heavens team from behind the glass. I love you and miss you always, Bestfriend.

In all of my memories of our family gatherings, the memory of "Uncle Les" stands clear and apart from everything else. To this day, those memories still make me feel happy and special......and I smile when I remember. His wonderful caring nature for everyone, his ready smile, his fun loving nature .....people of all ages were drawn to him. He made the world a special place. As children we gravitated towards Uncle Les because he always took the time to talk to us and play with us "kids". To this day, I cannot recall him uttering any unkind words, complaints or any selfish acts. He always put others first and foremost and had a funny joke to share with a twinkle in his eye. We were blessed to have known such an amazing man and feel his loss heavily. I consider him a truly, special person that blessed this earth. Deepest condolences to Aunt Bernice, Teri, Tim and Family. Our hearts are heavy and our prayers and love are with you. xo Dianne, Michael, Joshua & Brandon

On May 8, 1967 I began a 44 year career at S. C. Johnson. That first day on the job my supervisor took me out onto the production floor and introduced me to Les. Les was the Line Operator for the 16 Valve filling line and I spent the next several months working with Les teaching me all about being a Line Operator. He not only taught me the technical and mechanical aspects of the job, but by observing him I learned the importance of teamwork, sharing laughs and making it a "fun day" for everyone working on the line despite the hard work. As I later moved about to other jobs within the plant and company Les and I remained close. Everyone liked Les. He was a very special man. He will be missed by all of us.
Ralph.

I am so saddened to hear Les has left us. Greg and I both were employees. I worked with Les when I first went to Johnson's until I went on the switchboard. I started in the Pressure Pack Department and worked on the lines with Les. We had a lot of laughs over the years. He in my opinion was a gentle, loving, caring man. His smile and laugh made my day everyday. When Les ran the lines it didn't seem the day had enough hours in it as he kept us ladies in stitches. Always a funny story and when you were down, he made a point of brightening our days. The girls on the line knew we were going to have a great day and that was because he was so nice and considerate to everyone.
I send my deepest condolences to you Bernice and the entire family. I will miss his smile and the cute little laugh he had. Rest in Peace my friend!
