ALLAN, Ray Johnston -- Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Norfolk General Hospital in his 85th year. Son of late Ross and Dorothy Allan. Husband of the late Barbara (McCarey). Father of David (Heather of Port Dover, Robert of Simcoe, and Elizabeth (John) Horton of Mt. Carmel, Ill. Papa to Sarah (Joe) Elku, Ryan Wilhelm, Kate (Andrew) Moore, and Raeanne Horton. Proud great papa to Madison, Logan Mackenzie, Kennedy, Evan, Alexis, James, and Henry. Survived by brothers Jack and Hugh. And honorary daughter-in-law Kathy Hicks. Predeceased by brother Don. Worked at American Can for 39 years then continued his truck driving career at Ludwigs for 13 years. Cremation has taken place.
