Obituary of Warren Balcomb Beck
BECK – Warren: Passed away peacefully at The Norfolk General Hospital on Sunday, October 6, 2019 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of 60 years to Alice (nee Harvey). Loving father of Randy (Marianne), Michael (Ania) and Tracey Taylor (Bob). Proud grandfather of Justin (Ally), Paige (Dino), Brandon (Alex), Jordan (Vinal), Shay (Frank), Lindsay (Connor), Chase (Danielle), Ryan (Tess), Ashley (Keegan), Randi, Charli and Warren. Cherished great-grandfather to Carter, Dylan and Xander. Also surviving are his sisters Dawn West, Shirley Brosseau, sister-in-law Edith Van Dyk, brother and sister-in-law Tom and Liz Harvey, nieces and nephews. Warren was predeceased by his parents, brother Arthur Counsell, sisters Barbara Bennewies, Deanna Lowshaw, brothers-in-law Roy, Moe, Benny, Dave, John and sister-in-law Lorraine. Warren was a long time mechanic with the Norfolk Board of Education. He also enjoyed his many years as a member of the Army, Navy and Air Force Club, Unit 255. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Warren’s Life will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 2 – 5 p.m. at THE ARMY, NAVY AND AIR FORCE CLUB, Unit 255, 53 Water St. Simcoe. SOUTH COAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION ALTERNATIVES, 71 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe in care of arrangements.
