Obituary of Bertrand Jean-Louise Asselin
ASSELIN: Bertrand Jean-Louise -- After a long battle with Alzheimer’s Bert passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, November 19th, 2019 in his 78th year. Son of the late Aurelius and Luciena Asselin. Bert is survived by his sons Joseph (Natelie) and Dan (Kim), and daughter Christine (Jay). Bert is also survived by a number of grandchildren he loved deeply Savannah, Devin, Angel, Quinn, Austin, Tristian, Hannah, Ryelea, Alex, and Elizabeth. Bert also leaves behind four sisters Dolorise, Rachel, Lucie, and Solange, and three brothers Jean-Marie, Viatar, and Emelien. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held. SOUTH COAST FUNERAL & CREMATION ALTERNATIVES INC., 71 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe, in care of arrangements. Those wishing to donate in Bert’s memory are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or Haldimand-Norfolk Community Senior Support Services (where he enjoyed many years of volunteering).
