Obituary of Wayne Herbert GILL

GILL: Wayne Herbert – Peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, July 8,2016 in his 68th year. Dear son of the late Gordon and Margaret Gill. Beloved husband of 45 years to Doris Gill (nee Crandell). Loving father of Janette Gurman (Art Oliver). Dear Poppa to Brandon Gurman, Alicia Oliver and Jordon Gurman. Also survived by his brother Don (Mavis) Gill, niece Wendy Burley and great-nephews Zachary and Kyle Burley. Son-in-law to Francis Crandell and Marion McCarter and the late Susan Crandell. Brother-in-law to Caroline Crandell (Alan Addison), Bob Crandell (Bev Greenlaw) Glenn Crandell, Brenda Fletcher and the late Irene (Mark) Fletcher and nephews Larry Myyra and Eric and Ben Fletcher. He will also be sorely missed by Ron and Win Oliver, many extended family members and also by his treasured friends. Wayne retired from Stelco-Hilton Works Local 1005 after 38 years service. The family wishes to extend their sincerest thanks to the doctors and supporting medical teams who lovingly cared for him. For all our family and friends – although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow. Cremation has taken place.
