Obituary of Robert Herbert WOODS

WOODS – Robert Herbert: Passed away at the Delhi Long Term Care Nursing Home on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. Formerly of Simcoe in his 86th year. Son of the Late Victor and Julia Woods. Loving father of Greg (Susan Polgar) and the Late Wayne (1994) and David (1963). Father-in-law of Michele Bach (Peter) and dear friend of Muriel Wybouw. Cherished grandfather of Brad (Angela) and Jennifer (Nick Bruno), and great-grandfather of Tyra, Faith and Isabella. Also surviving is his sister Elanor Westerterp, and was predeceased by siblings Barbara, Victor, Sheila and Betty. Robert worked as a By-Law Officer for the Township of Delhi, retiring in 1995. He was a lover of the great outdoors and nautical history. He had served in The Royal Canadian Navy and was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #79. Cremation has taken place.
