Obituary of William Francis Varey
VAREY – William Francis: Of Port Ryerse, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Mary Louise (Cutting). Loving father of Brian (Anne), Cathy Buckle, Mike (Darcy), Anne Gosse (Kevin), father-in-law of Louise Goos. Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather. Also surviving is his loving brother John (friend Elaine), brother-in-law Skip Cutting (Betty), sister-in-law Eleanor Wilson, numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his son Stephen, son-in-law Duncan Buckle, brother-in-law Jim Cutting and sister-in-law Betty Varey. Bill worked as a special service man for Union Gas and enjoyed a long retirement spending winters camping in the Florida Keys and summers at the cottage in Port Ryerse. Cremation has taken place.
